As a walker and a cyclist I love the North Carolina greenways. The two I use the most are the White Oak Greenway and the American Tobacco Trail. Unfortunately when cycling there is a missing link - there is approximately 1 mile between the current end of the White Oak Greenway and the Tobacco Trail that needs to be completed so they connect. If that happens people will not have to go on the roads to get to the trail.

The country roads are not always the most friendly for people riding bikes and we all know how much motorists love cyclists. This would be a win for both. Currently Apex has no firm plans to complete this link. I would love to see a grass-roots push. If you have time walk or ride both these trails, you will fall in love with them like me.
