2 charged with possession of gun, marijuana on school campus

RALEIGH -- Two men were arrested in the parking lot of Longview High School Tuesday night.

Gregory Price Jr. of Riegelwood, N.C., faces charges in the possession of a 12-gauge shotgun and a digital scale used to weigh marijuana in his possession on school property at 318 N. King Charles Road.

Troy Privette, Jr., of Garner, faces charges in the possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school building.

At 8:45 p.m. Tuesday night, police received a call about a suspicious vehicle in the area near 318 N. King Charles Road, according to Raleigh police spokesman Jim Sughrue. When police arrived, they found a vehicle parked in the parking lot of Longview High School. The school was closed.

The two were arrested. Both men are being held in the Wake County Jail under a bond of $10,000 each.
