RALEIGH -- Agents with North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement have filed more charges against three teens in connection with an early morning, alcohol-related crash in North Raleigh this month that killed a Millbrook High School student.

ALE officers this afternoon announced that Samantha M. McKinney, 17, Hannah R. Smith, 18 and a juvenile - all of Raleigh - have been charged.

The teens' arrest this afternoon marked the fourth since Sunday when police charged a 21-year-old with purchasing two 1.75-liter containers of rum at the Wake County ABC store at 7112 Sandy Forks Road.

Investigators have accused Anthony Du Juan Geter of purchasing the alcohol for Garrett Lane Prince, a 16-year-old who police say was driving more than 70 mph on Jan. 7 when his Jeep Cherokee crashed into a tree on Rainwater Road and killed 17-year-old passenger Elizabeth Molloy.

The investigators say McKinney helped buy the alcohol and charged her with one count of underage purchase of spirituous liquor.

The ALE officers charged Smith, 18, of 8617 Hawksmoor Drive in Raleigh with two counts of aiding and abetting, after she hosted an underage party on the evening of Jan. 6, which Prince and Molloy attended.

In addition, a juvenile petition was obtained for the 15 year old who is accused of helping buy the alcohol.
