RALEIGH -- Temperatures today in the Triangle may harken to summer more than winter. The predicted high this afternoon is 70 degrees, according to Shawna Cokley, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Raleigh.

Tonight the temperature is expected to drop to the mid-30s.

There remains a chance of showers later this afternoon about 4 or 5, Cokley said.

A line of showers moved across the Triangle during the morning commute today, but it had moved out by late morning.
