Silver alert canceled for missing Spring Lake man

A 21-year-old Spring Lake man who was reported missing on Sunday has been recovered and is in good health, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

The silver alert for Jorge "Lickey" Rangel, issued nearly a week ago, was cancelled Thursday night.

Rangel disappeared Sunday afternoon after leaving his house and heading to Wal-Mart at 1225 Spring Ave., according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office. He did not return.

Rangel was believed to be suffering from a cognitive disorder when he went missing.
