Teens work together for new voters

The Chatham County and Chapel Hill Teen Democrats and the Chatham County Teen Conservatives worked together to register 271 new voters during Citizen Voter Registration Awareness Month in September.

The groups recruited teens from both Republican and Democrat households to help register or preregister new voters at four high-school football games, the Chatham County Fair, and the Selma Days Fair in Johnston County.
