RALEIGH -- Seven people were displaced from a Raleigh apartment Sunday night after a fire started in a second-floor bedroom.

The Raleigh Fire Department received a call at 8:20 p.m. about the blaze at an apartment at 2613 McNeill St., near Old Wake Forest Road.

The fire was extinguished by 8:45. Authorities said the fire started in a bedroom, but weren't sure of the cause.

No one was injured, but three adults and four children were displaced.

The Red Cross worked with the family to find them a place to stay Sunday night.

No other information was released.
