Kobe Bryant vs. pretty much everyone: He's not injured; he's bionic. The man has the resolve to fight through pretty much anything. The Bobcats don't have the stoppers they once did (Gerald Wallace, Raja Bell). They will need a big effort from Gerald Henderson.

Observations

The Lakers hit a rough patch recently, losing four of five. Of course, the Bobcats start this West Coast trip on an eight-game losing streak.

So are the Lakers finally not the best NBA team that calls Staples Center home? The Clippers are real with Chris Paul joining Blake Griffin.

Can't help but chuckle, reading "World Peace" among players in the Lakers statistics. Ron Artest is a character.

The Bobcats expect to get Henderson and D.J. White back from injury Tuesday night.
