Editor's note: A brief Wednesday gave the wrong date for a Valentine's dinner at the Angus Barn. The 4th annual Valentine's Winemaker Dinner at the Angus Barn Pavilion will be Feb. 11.

Wine and seafood lovers may want to mark their calendars for the upcoming Seafood and Wine Festival at Sip, a wine store in Cary.

Dock to Door Seafood, a seafood delivery business that connects North Carolina fishermen with Triangle consumers, has partnered with Sip for this Feb. 26 event. From 2 to 5 p.m., they will serve six wines, clams and oysters from Shooting Point Oyster Co. in Virginia.

For $40, you can enjoy seafood and wine. Or you can pay $20 for either seafood or wine. To reserve your tickets, call 467-7880.

For more information, go to docktodoorseafood.com/events/.

Speaking of seafood

Walking Fish, a community-supported fisheries project, is offering biweekly delivery of seafood from the North Carolina coast from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the farmers market at N.C. State University. Delivery started Tuesday, but shares are still available.

You can order six weeks delivery of a full share or a half share. Costs range from $111 to $246. For more information, go to www.walking-fish.org.

Gluten-free festival

Whole Foods in Chapel Hill is hosting a gluten-free festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 20. Those who follow a gluten-free diet can sample products and meet the vendors as well as enter to win giveaways. The Chapel Hill store is at 81 S. Elliott Road. The event is free to the public.

Woo your Valentine

The Angus Barn is hosting its fourth annual winemaker dinner on Valentine's Day in its pavilion. The four-course meal with wine pairings at Raleigh's legendary steakhouse costs $95 per person. The menu includes appetizers, lobster bisque, roasted sliced beef tenderloin with shrimp and chevre potatoes and sugar snap peas and red velvet lava cake for dessert.

After dinner, there will be dancing with a performance by the band Mid Life Crisis.

To make a reservation, call 787-3505.
