Blue Devils seeking consistency

Duke hopes to build on one of its strongest performances of the ACC season when it hosts Miami on Super Bowl Sunday.

Tied with North Carolina and Florida State atop the ACC standings, the Blue Devils (19-3, 6-1 ACC) will want to make sure the game against the Hurricanes (13-7, 4-3) doesn't slip into the background on the NFL's big day. Plus, there will be a tendency to look ahead to Wednesday night's showdown against the No. 5 Tar Heels in Chapel Hill.

Duke did a lot of things well in its win over Virginia Tech on Thursday, and the best way to show it is ready for UNC will be to follow up that effort with an outing that is equally as strong. The Blue Devils haven't always done that this season, but if they can do it Sunday, their talk of being a changed team will carry more weight.
