Police seek missing 57-year-old woman from Fayetteville

A silver alert has been issued for a missing Fayetteville woman who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other type of cognitive impairment.

Edith Raynor Dunn, 57, was last seen Sunday evening at 912 Fayetteville Dr. in Fayetteville, according to a report released by the Fayetteville Police Department. Police believe Dunn may be heading to a home at 640 Emerson Dr. in Asheboro.

Dunn, a black woman, with shoulder-length hair, and standing 5' 1" tall, weighs 185 pounds, according to the police report. She was last seen wearing a long black coat and gray sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about Dunn's whereabouts is asked to contact R. Morrison at the Fayetteville Police Dept. at 910-433-1885.
