I-40 eastbound lanes closed at exit 266 due to tractor-trailer wreck

All eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 at exit 266 were closed earlier today due to a tractor-trailer wreck. The exit is north of downtown Chapel Hill.

The tractor-trailer jackknifed, according to Wendy Steele, of the State Highway Patrol. No one was injured.

The wreck was reported around 9:15 a.m., according to the N.C. Department of Transportation. Regular traffic patterns resumed late this morning.
