Regarding "A rallying cry for post-Bowl holiday" (Feb. 6 front-page): I was in the work force for over 30 years. I attended many concerts, sports events and even a few bowl games. Yes, I did party at most events. However, I always made it to work and not hung over or late. After all, Sunday's game was over before 10 p.m. As a responsible adult you have to make choices, choices that define the person you are.

If we cave in for a post-Bowl holiday, next time it will be college game holidays. This is complete nonsense. People should be grateful they have a job. There are 15 million Americans out of work and some people want a paid Super Bowl holiday. Grow up!
