DULUTH, Ga. -- Alyssa Thomas scored 23 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, Tianna Hawkins added a career-high 23 points and No. 8 Maryland beat No. 22 Georgia Tech 64-56 on Monday night.

Despite a difficult shooting night from the field, Thomas went 12 of 12 on free throws for Maryland (20-3, 7-3 ACC).

Sasha Goodlett, who finished with 15 points, was the only player to score in double figures for Georgia Tech (17-7, 7-4). The loss snapped the Yellow Jackets' four-game winning streak.

Hawkins went 11-for-13 from the field and grabbed nine rebounds. The Terrapins outrebound Georgia Tech 43-28.

The teams had split the past four games, which had been decided by a margin of 3.3 points. The lead changed eight times, and the score was tied 12 times.

Thomas went 5-for-15 from the field.

No. 1 Baylor 81, Oklahoma 54: Brittney Griner scored 27 points with eight rebounds and eight blocked shots to help Baylor remain undefeated.

Even with visiting Oklahoma determined to make things difficult on Griner, surrounding her with pink jerseys, Baylor's 6-foot-8 junior phenom just kept making free throws. She set a career high making all 13 of her attempts.

Baylor (24-0, 11-0 Big 12) stretched its home winning streak to 36.

Whitney Hand had 20 points to lead Oklahoma (15-7, 7-4), which had won three in a row since the loss to the Bears 11 days ago. Sharane Campbell had 13 points.

No. 10 Ohio State 72, Wisconsin 58: Samantha Prahalis scored a career-high 34 points and host Ohio State made the most of an eight-day layoff for its 20th consecutive victory over the Badgers.

Tayler Hill, the Big Ten's leading scorer, added 18 points for the Buckeyes (21-2, 8-2), who had lots of time to mull a disappointing 76-65 loss Jan. 29 at Minnesota.

Ohio State broke the game open with a 16-3 second-half run.

Taylor Wurtz had 20 points and Morgan Paige 14 for Wisconsin (8-15, 4-7), which hit a school-record 12 3-pointers.

Southern Conference

Appalachian State 50, College of Charleston 41: The visiting Mountaineers (17-3, 11-1) got a double-double from Anna Freeman (19 points, 13 rebounds), who also blocked three shots.

Alyssa Frye scored 14 for the Cougars (6-17, 5-9).

Elon 69, UNC Greensboro 50: The visiting Phoenix (12-11, 8-6) was led by 19 points from Ali Ford, who opened the game with a steal.

The Spartans fell to 3-19, 2-12 after 1-of-12 shooting from behind the arc.

CIAA

Shaw 82, Livingstone 61: Kyria Buford had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the visiting Bears (15-6, 10-1).

Livingstone fell to 7-16, 2-9 behind Kendra McKinney's 16 points.

Fayetteville State 59, Johnson C. Smith 58: The host Broncos (9-10, 3-7) took the final lead on a free throw by Je'Lena Robertson with two seconds to play.

Shavonda Price missed a 3-point attempt for Johnson C. Smith (16-4, 10-1) to end its first league loss. Price scored 22 and pulled down 10 rebounds.

Winston-Salem State 75, St. Augustine's 63: The visiting Falcons went scoreless in the final 3 minutes, 42 seconds, and the Rams (15-6, 10-1) scored the final nine points.

St. Augustine's fell to 11-10, 6-5.
