Herndon Lee Wells, 89, passed away on Monday.
A native of Harnett County he was the son of the late Herman Leroy Wells and Sidna Herndon Wells.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church with burial to follow at Angier Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Wille Mae Wells, daughter Susan W. Chriscoe (Johnny), son John Wells (Cherlyn), brothers Dick Wells (Frances), Jack Wells (Jo) all of Angier, grandchildren Natali Bruce, Troy Hiebsch, Ryan Chriscoe, and Virginia Chriscoe, great-grandchildren Kimber Lynn, Cody Lynn, Keaton Bruce, McKenzie Hiebsch and Owen Hiebsch.
Mr. Wells was pre-deceased by his first wife Mattie Brown "Brownie" Hinson Wells, sisters Ardele Wells, and Dorothy Carson.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
