Talmon Angus Finch, 84, of 5116 Belle Lane, Fieldcrest Estates, passed away on February 7, 2012 after months of declining health. He was born in Wake County on January 22, 1928 to the late Talmon Thomas Finch and Millie Finch. Talmon retired from Raleigh Office Supply in 1989. As long as his health permitted, he was a faithful member of Knightdale United Methodist Church.
Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
The family will receive relatives and friends following the service at the funeral home.
Surviving: wife, Louise Thompson Finch; son, Talmon Angus “Butch” Finch, Jr. and wife, Wendy of Raleigh; grandson, Khristopher “Sean” Finch of Cary; sisters, Polly F. Lewis of Knightdale, Jane F. Owen of Burlington, Judy F. Eason of Knightdale.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Isabelle Finch, Deliliah Pearce, and Tillie West.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to Knightdale United Methodist Church Building Fund, Post Office Box 83, Knightdale, NC 27545.
