A wreck in Charlotte's uptown sent two people to the hospital this afternoon.
The crash happened just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of North McDowell and East 6th streets. More than a dozen Charlotte firefighters arrived to help rescue someone trapped in a vehicle.
Paramedics said they took two people with injuries described as potentially life threatening to Carolinas Medical Center.
Firefighters said drivers should expect traffic delays in the area.
