Mattie Lurine (Murchison) Brown, 70, peacefully went home on February 4, 2012.
Mattie was born in Harnett County, NC, April 15, 1941, to the late Amos and Lurine Murchison.
Mattie was predeceased by her siblings: Harvey L. Murchison, Benjamin J. Murchison, Tellie W. Murchison. Catherine Murchison, Marie Murchison, and Lillie M. Barber.
Mattie will be greatly missed by her sons, Kenneth A. Brown, Sr., Herman L. Brown. Jr.; her daughter, Teresa L. Jennings and her husband, Rick; also her grandchildren, Kenneth A. Brown. Jr., Shatari N. Scales, Brianna J. Brown, Sashia D. Jennings, her brothers, John W. Murchison, Henry L. Murchison, Joseph L. Murchison. George Murchison, Lee R. Murchison; sisters, Florence H. Campbell, Alma Murchison. Ida Byrd, Mary M. Owens, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation: February 10, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lori-Chappell Funeral Home, 308 Sherwee Dr. Suite D.
