Reggie Johnson scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Miami-Florida Hurricanes to a 65-49 win over the Virginia Tech Hokies in an Atlantic Coast Conference tussle at the BankUnited Center.

Shane Larkin added 14 points in the win for Miami (15-7, 6-3 ACC), while Kenny Kadji contributed 11 points. The win was the fifth in a row for the Hurricanes.

Erick Green posted a game-high 17 points to lead Virginia Tech (13-11, 2-7) in a losing effort.

The Hokies were limited to just 34.6 percent from the field during the opening frame, enabling Miami to take a 30-22 lead into the break.

The Hurricanes then hit 44.4 percent of their attempts from the floor to go with a 7-of-9 effort at the foul line over the final 20 minutes to capture a 16-point victory.

The Hokies were guilty of a game-high 17 giveaways during the meeting.
