Recap: Oregon vs. Washington

Carlos Emory scored 16 points and ripped down eight rebounds as the Oregon Ducks toppled the Washington Huskies 82-57 in a Pac-12 battle at Matthew Knight Arena.

E.J. Singler, Garrett Sim and Devoe Joseph all scored 13 for Oregon (17-7, 8-4 Pac-12) which had lost three of its previous four.

Tony Wroten scored 14 to lead Washington (16-8, 9-3) which had a five game winning streak snapped. C.J. Wilcox also chipped in 10 points off the bench for the Huskies.

Oregon came out of the gate well shooting a blistering 64.3 percent including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc in the first twenty minutes to take a 49-26 lead into the break. Sim was particularly impressive scoring all 13 of his points in the first half.Washington shot just 30.3 percent to open the game.

The second half was less one-sided with Oregon shooting 48.1 percent and Washington at 42.4 percent but the Ducks dominating first half was enough to stave off any rally from the Huskies.

Oregon outscored Washington 20-6 on points off turnovers as well as 42-36 on points in the paint.
