The Democratic National Convention Committee today began looking for bids from companies that can provide 250 motor coaches to ferry around delegates and other officials at the convention.
The DNCC issued a request for proposals for a transportation services. Information can be found at www.demconvention.com.
The winning bidder is expected to not only provide the buses but develop a comprehensive plan to get delegates to and from more than 150 hotels and other convention events.
The deadline to submit bids is Feb. 24.
