A wreck involving an overturned vehicle is affecting Friday afternoon rush hour traffic along southbound Interstate 85 in western Mecklenburg County.
The crash happened around 5 p.m. on I-85 southbound near Little Rock Road (exit 32). At least one lane was closed following the wreck, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation.
Paramedics said they took one person to Carolinas Medical Center with injuries described as life threatening.
