How well did things go for Clemson on Saturday? Devin Booker missed a one-handed slam very badly early in the second half. His teammate, Andre Young, grabbed the miss and drove the lane for an uncontested layup to put the Tigers up 18 with more than 15 minutes left in the game.

How badly did things go for Wake Forest? Coach Jeff Bzdelik called a timeout after that play, only to get media timeout after only 15 seconds had expired on the clock. When Wake Forest tried to inbound the ball following the media timeout, it could not get the ball in and was called for a five-second violation.

Oddly enough had Clemson been as proficient from the free-throw line as it was from the field, the Tigers would have enjoyed an even more lopsided win. The Tigers made just six of their 12 free throws.

Clemson can make some headway in the ACC standings if can knock off No. 19 Virginia at home Tuesday. The Tigers lost 65-61 in Charlottesville, Va., in the teams' meeting Jan. 31.
