Robert Henry Brown, 77, of 2223 Rumson Road, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012. Robert was born March 27, 1934 in Muscadine, AL to the late Robert E. Brown and Imogene Dingler Brown. He was a retired butcher with A&P where he had over 20 years of service.
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial: Knightdale United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Surviving: Son, Greg Brown (Sheree) of Knightdale; Daughter, Kathy B. Lynch (Michael) of Bracey, VA; Grandchildren, Mikah Holland (Patrick) of Alexandria, VA, Heath Brown (Candi) of Louisburg, Jeremy Lynch (Tiffany) of Bracey, VA, Tifani Brown of Raleigh, Trevor Brown of Knightdale, Addison Lynch of Raleigh; Great-Grandchildren, Cameron, Jackson, Olivia and Mackenzie; Sisters, Barbara Ann Barbour (O’Brine) of Raleigh, Peggy Amato (Chuck) of Raleigh, Ellen Hershey (Rick) of Middlesex; Brothers, Charles Brown (Jackie) of Garner, Eddie Brown (Connie) of Zebulon.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Watson Brown on November 26, 1984; a daughter, Cheryl Kay Brown; and a sister, Charlotte Kirkland.
