Cody Black of Raleigh has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.
For his Eagle project, Cody designed and supervised the construction of three oversized picnic tables for the playground at Lacy Elementary School in Raleigh.
Cody, the son of Laura and Bill Black, is a member of Troop 353 at St. Pauls Christian Church and a senior at Broughton High School.
