Kristin Klinc of Wake Forest has earned the Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

For her Gold project, Kristin worked with the Brown Bag Ministry to design and create newsletters and PowerPoint presentations to aid in recruiting and retaining volunteers. She also delivered a PowerPoint presentation to conference attendees about the ministry's impact on the community.

Kristin, the daughter of Cathy and Ron Klinc, is a recent graduate from Raleigh Charter High School. She was a member of Troop 981.
