Raleigh man charged with hitting man with stick, stealing wallet and jeans

A 35-year-old Raleigh man has been arrested and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon after he reportedly hit a man with a stick before taking the man's wallet.

Eddie C. Taylor, whose address was not disclosed, was arrested Sunday following a home invasion in Southeast Raleigh. According to his arrest warrant, Taylor is believed to have hit a man with a stick, causing injuries to the man's head and arm.

Taylor stole the man's wallet and a pair of jeans, worth a combined $150, according to the warrant.

He is being charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and first-degree burglary.

Taylor is being held in the Wake County Jail under a bond of $400,000.
