3 injured in southeast Charlotte wreck

Three people were taken to Carolinas Medical Center after a southeast Charlotte wreck this afternoon.

The wreck happened just before 2 p.m. at Central Avenue and North Sharon Amity Road. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to get the injured people out of the vehicle.

The injured had nonlife-threatening injuries.
