The Federal Bureau of Investigations has charged John Larry Morrison of Greensboro with robbing two SunTrust Banks in the Triangle last fall, according to a Department of Justice news release.
Morrison, 36, was already in custody today at the Durham County jail, where he has been since he was arrested in December and charged with the Dec. 17 robbery of a Rite Aid drug store. He was also charged at that time with driving while impaired and possession of stolen goods, according to Durham County records.
Morrison, who also went by Ralph Linwood, is charged with two counts of common law robbery charges in connection with the SunTrust at 6300 Creedmoor Road in Raleigh on Sept. 23, and the SunTrust at 1273 North West Maynard Road in Cary on Nov. 25.
