An Alamance County maker of specialty textiles is hoping to create 110 jobs over the next three years at its Burlington plant.
Burlington Technologies already has secured a commitment of up to $120,000 in state incentives, money that it will receive if it creates those jobs and invests $725,000 in the plant.
But the expansion plans haven't yet been finalized. Instead, the expansion is contingent upon the company receiving a military contract it is vying for, according to the announcement made Thursday by Gov. Bev Perdue.
Burlington Technologies currently has 60 employees in Burlington, which also is the site of the company's headquarters.
