James, Durant named NBA Players of the Week

Miami Heat forward LeBron James and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant have been named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played through February 19.

James averaged 27.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 2.0 steals, leading Miami to a 4-0 record last week.

Durant averaged 32.0 points and 8.0 rebounds last week, helping the Thunder to a 3-1 mark. He posted a career-high 51 points on Sunday against Denver.

Other nominees were Detroit's Rodney Stuckey, Miami's Dwyane Wade, Minnesota's Kevin Love, New Orleans' Trevor Ariza, New York's Jeremy Lin, Oklahoma City's Serge Ibaka and Russell Westbrook, Orlando's Dwight Howard and San Antonio's Tony Parker.
