Police have accused a 22-year-old Raleigh man with stealing more than $700 worth of DVDs and Blu-ray discs from Walmart in Wake Forest.

James Harold Winters, 22, of Grantland Drive in Raleigh, was arrested Monday. He has been charged with larceny by anti-inventory device after reportedly wrapping aluminum foil around DVDs and Blu-ray discs to get past the store's security alarm, according to his arrest warrant.

He also has been charged with resisting a public officer during his arrest, according to his warrant.

Winters was on parole at the time of his arrest after being charged with second degree burglary in 2010. He now faces a $15,000 bond.
