Matchup to Watch
Roy Hibbert vs. Bismack Biyombo: First-time All-Star Hibbert (18 points and 14 rebounds) put on a show against Biyombo early in Sunday's game. Hibbert got to shoot at point-blank range most any time he wanted.
Observations
• The Bobcats won't get back shooting guard Gerald Henderson (strained hamstring) until after All-Star break. The Bobcats have lost 90 player games to injury in 31 games, and 40 of those were to starters Henderson, D.J. Augustin and Corey Maggette.
• The Pacers have beaten the Bobcats in eight straight matchups, but the past three have been particularly one-sided: Margins of 23, 22 and 35 points.
• Bobcats coach Paul Silas tried to clean up his team's picks in practice Tuesday. Silas felt one of the big flaws Sunday was has players not really slowing up Pacers' guards when Charlotte tried to run pick-and-roll.
