It's easy to submit news of food events, cooking classes and wine tastings to The News & Observer's feature sections calendars using triangle.com.
Our process will let you post events online and submit them for possible publication in print and on Andrea Weigl's blog ( blogs.newsobserver.com/Mouthful) in one step. Here are the steps to follow:
Type events.triangle.com into your search bar (Important: no www).
Register or log in to the website.
Click on "add to our listings" (upper right side).
Fill out the form. If the venue where your event is being held is not in the system, follow the prompts to add it.
Helpful tips
Keep your entry short and informative. Include who, what, where, when and why.
To help editors find your event for possible inclusion in Wednesday's food section, use the keyword that best fits your event: Cooking Classes, Food & Dining, Wine. This should be typed in the "KEYWORDS" section as you add your event.
