RALEIGH -- Two neighbors have been charged with breaking and entering a home in Raleigh in November, according to authorities.

Andrew David Abell, 38, of 7107 Sandy Forks Road Apt. 3C, Raleigh, and Xavier Hackney, 17, of 7107 Sandy Forks Road, Apt. 1A, were arrested Tuesday.

According to arrest warrants, they entered a home on Villawood Court between 11 p.m. and 5:50 a.m. Nov. 9, 2011, where they took several videos, video games, and speakers, worth up to $2,000. The men then tried to sell the items at The Trade It Store on Glenwood Avenue, the warrants said.

Both men are being held in the Wake County Jail.

Abell faces a bond of $65,000 with charges of first-degree burglary, larceny, and attempting to obtain property under false pretenses.

Hackney faces the same charges, along with a charge of resisting a public officer after he locked himself in his bedroom when police tried to arrest him. Hackney's bond is set at $200,000.
