Wake County schools Superintendent Tony Tata is the pot calling the kettle black. As a Fox News political pundit, Tata was no stranger to throwing his commander in chief under the bus. While Tata offered to refrain from political blogging after he assumed his role as superintendent here, he has never been asked to resign or refrain from his previous political affiliations.

Odd that Tata has also never asked Republican school board members to resign or refrain from their tea party speeches, anti-tax affiliations or pro-voucher tirades.

Tata publically accusing board members Susan Evans and Christine Kushner of disrespect and asking them to resign previous affiliations with Great Schools in Wake [news stories, Feb. 21 and 22] is the highest order of gall.
