Player to watch: Michael Snaer, G, Florida State If the game comes down to the wire, there is little question who Florida State will turn to. The Seminoles guard hit the game-winner at Duke, knocking down a 3-pointer from the wing as time expired.
Snaer then hit another game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer against Virginia Tech, keeping Florida State in position for its first ACC regular-season championship.
Observation: Florida State leads the ACC in field-goal defense again, holding opponents to 37 percent shooting from the floor. So it will be incumbent upon Duke to knock down whatever open looks it gets, especially from the outside.
The Blue Devils shot 39.7 percent in the teams' first meeting, but the Seminoles' height effectively neutralized Duke's inside game.
The Plumlee brothers took only nine shots between them, scoring 13 points. So the Blue Devils' perimeter players likely will have to carry the load again.
