The Plumlee brothers, Miles and Mason, were quiet in the first meeting between the two teams, only taking nine shots between them and finishing with 13 points. Both were more aggressive Thursday, with Miles scoring six points by the first media timeout.
Miles and Mason also have had trouble dunking the ball in recent games. Most of their misses have had a high degree of difficulty, but Mason back-rimmed an attempt Thursday that was relatively straight forward. The Plumlee brothers have combined to miss five dunks in the last three games.
Florida State's Deividas Dulkys had a hard time keep up with whomever he was guarding. He was on Dawkins for extended periods of the first half when Dawkins hit a number of his 3-pointers. Austin Rivers then hit back-to-back 3-pointers to open the second half when Dulkys was guarding him.
