UNC delays start time of baseball game due to severe weather threat

From staff reportsFebruary 24, 2012

The start time for the opening game of North Carolina's three-game baseball series against Wright State has been pushed back to 6 p.m. today because of the threat of severe thunderstorms moving through the Chapel Hill area, the university announced.

Today's game was originally scheduled to start at 3 p.m., but the gates to UNC's Boshamer Stadium will not open today until the threat of severe weather subsides, according to a university release.
