Police seek vehicle involved in hit-and-run in Garner

— Police are requesting help locating a burgundy Buick sedan involved in a hit-and-run that left one person seriously injured.

The car – a Buick Regal or Century from 2000-2003 – crashed into the rear of Lopez Ramos’ vehicle on the 200 block of Weston Road in Garner. Ramos was seriously injured in the crash Monday morning.

The suspect’s car should have noticeable damage to the front right corner as well as the passenger side mirror. Pieces of the mirror housing were recovered at the scene.

Anyone with information concerning the wreck is asked to contact Detective Grant Davis at 919-772-8810.
