Counting on a big weekend from: Milton Jennings. The junior forward is really the only player on the roster who can create his own shot, but he and coach Brad Brownell don't always see eye-to-eye. You don't really know what you're going to get with Jennings, who's just as likely to be spectacular as he is to be pedestrian.

Number to know: 4. The difference in the season series between the Tigers and Virginia Tech is four points. Clemson beat the Hokies 58-56 at home on March 1 and lost 67-65 on the road on Feb. 4.

Hotlanta or Notlanta?: Not. Clemson will play hard - that is a given under Brownell. It will defend until the final second of the game, but the Tigers are such a limited team on offense that even if they beat Virginia Tech, they won't get past Duke on Friday.
