F Richard Howell 10.8 ppg, 9.3 rpg

Counting on a big weekend from: Scott Wood. N.C. State is a different team, as coach Mark Gottfried says, when Wood is scoring from the outside. The junior guard scored 19 (vs. Virginia Tech) and 15 (vs. Miami) in the Pack's last two games, both wins, compared to 6.0 points per contest in the previous four games, all losses.

Number to know: 1. ACC tournament wins in Atlanta for the Wolfpack since winning the 1983 tournament at the old Omni. Going back to 1985, the Wolfpack has lost its last four tournament games in Atlanta.

Hotlanta or Notlanta?: Not. Even if the Wolfpack avoids a land-mine game against Boston College today and avenges a one-point loss from earlier in the season against Virginia on Friday, UNC - which has won 12 straight over the Pack - likely awaits on Saturday.
