Player to watch
James Michael McAdoo, 6-9, Fr., Forward
McAdoo would likely start for the first time in his collegiate career if North Carolina junior forward John Henson is unable to play because of a left wrist injury. Henson has been dominant throughout his career against the Wolfpack, so McAdoo would have a huge void to fill.
Observation: UNC won both regular-season games (74-55 and 86-74), controlling the interior in the first game and exploiting the Pack from the perimeter in the second game (making 10-of-19 3-point shots).
