I'm not a lawyer, and claim no legal expertise. As a Durham resident, I greatly appreciate The N&O's coverage of the Tracey Cline story. It seems clear from the evidence presented that she was out of line and deserved to be removed from office as district attorney.

However, your March 4 front-page article "For Cline, recent attack is in character" was unnecessary and smacked of pettiness. You won. The People won. Justice was served. There's no need to pile on. Rather, it's time to move on.
