PNC Financial Services Group, which recently completed its acquisition of Raleigh-based RBC Bank, announced Monday that it is adding Saturday hours to 26 of its new branches in North Carolina – including eight in the Triangle.
Pittsburgh-based PNC said it is adding Saturday hours beginning April 7 at more than 140 of the 415 former RBC branches in six southeastern states that it acquired earlier this month. The affected branches will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
The recent morphing of RBC branches into PNC sites was PNC’s largest single conversion ever. PNC previously converted 1,300 National City Bank branches, but did so in four phases over a seven-month period.
