RALEIGH — Two Raleigh families were displaced Friday morning after a fire ripped through a duplex at 4016 Arckelton Drive, according to the fire report.
None of the seven people in the building were injured, according to authorities.
The fire department received a call about the fire just after 2:05 a.m., according to the report.
Investigators have concluded that improperly discarded smoking material caused the fire.
About 75 percent of the building was damaged by the blaze.
