Tobacco Road Sports Cafe anchor East 54 in Chapel Hill

Tobacco Road Sports Cafe will be the anchor tenant at the East 54 Marketplace in Chapel Hill.

Tobacco Road will occupy 6,067 square feet and have a 3,000-square-foot outdoor patio fronting N.C. 54 and next to the Aloft Hotel. Tobacco Road has two other existing locations in the Triangle, in Raleigh’s Glenwood South entertainment district and in the Diamond View office building adjacent to the Durham Bulls ballpark.

Uniform Land is opening today at Northgate Mall. Uniform Land sells a variety of professional and educational uniforms and footwear including apparel for medical, EMT, construction, law enforcement, hospitality and school settings and related footwear with brands including Birkenstock, Dansko, Sanitas, Alegria, Skechers, Converse and Crocs among others. Uniform Land is located between Radio Shack and Victoria’s Secret in space No. 217.

Knightdale Pharmacy’s grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for May 3 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Knightdale Pharmacy is at 6602 Knightdale Blvd., Suite 120, located in the Rex Healthcare Building.

NIC FIX, a new Northgate kiosk featuring the sale of electronic cigarettes and related accessories, opened April 1.

Owner Cynthia Allen is the former manager of Northgate’s Dress Barn. NIC FIX offers JOYETECH rechargeable electronic cigarettes, dozens of refillable E-Liquid flavors, smoke elimination candles, room fresheners and fabric sprays. NIC FIX is located across from Northgate’s Food Gallery, next to the Cookie Store, in kiosk No. 53.

The Winmore Salon is now open in Carrboro’s Winmore neighborhood at 230 E. Winmore Avenue.

The salon is the first business to open in the neighborhood’s town center.
