RALEIGH — A woman was shot multiple times outside a convenience store in downtown Raleigh on Thursday night, according to police reports.
Saquanna Thorpe, 28, was shot outside of Newcomb Food Market at 527 Haywood St. on Thursday night. She was transported to WakeMed, according to Raleigh police spokesman Jim Sughrue. She has since been treated and released.
The case remains under investigation. No arrests have been made.
Police have not yet identified any suspects.
