Traffic delays expected near WakeMed soccer Park in Cary

Drivers in Cary are advised to expect heavy traffic delays near WakeMed Soccer Park in eastern Cary tonight.

A sold-out Carolina RailHawks game against the L.A. Galaxy, scheduled for 7 p.m., will bring out lots of fans and motorists traveling near the East Chatham Street, Maynard Road and Trinity Road intersections. No lanes will be closed.

As alternate routes, drivers are encouraged to used Chapel Hill Road, also known as N.C. 54, and Cary Town Boulevard.
