Frances Ann Johnston

June 13, 2012

Life, Love, and Beauty are the most essential words which describe our precious Frances Ann Johnston. Her love of Christmas, and music, theatre and horses is surpassed only by her love of family, friends, and God. Following a brief illness she passed on Sunday morning, June 10, 2012 at home, much too soon.

She is part of a large, loving family. Tradition dictates sharing the past and present and all branches of the family. We know all will understand we mean no disrespect if we simply share that she is survived by her parents, Bob & Martha Johnston of Wake Forest, NC; by her son, Ashley Pace and his wife, Kimberly, and their three children, Morgan, Aubrey, and Henry, of Indian Trail, NC; by her brother, Dan Johnston, and his wife Teresa, their sons: Tripp Bridges, and his wife, Katy, of Apex, NC, and, David Johnston, currently stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO; and by her husband, Bruce Smith, of Youngsville, NC.

A memorial service will be held this coming Saturday, June 16th, at First Church of Christ, Scientist, Raleigh, NC, at 2:00 pm. There is no visitation. Flowers are welcome, and are part of her final request.

We, her family, and those of you who know her, will agree that we are blessed to have such a gift as her in our lives. She has demonstrated love, joy, life, beauty, and wisdom in all she has shared with us. She is dearly missed.
